Álvaro Gijón, a former deputy mayor of Palma, was implicated in the Cursach case and the 'caso ORA'.
Álvaro Gijón said that a document indicating payment made on his behalf by "Tolo" was false.
Meanwhile, the prosecution service has opposed an appeal on behalf of Tolo Cursach for his release from custody.
"I am innocent. I'm not going to resign for any reason because I have done absolutely nothing of what I am being accused."
Gijón has already been implicated in the ongoing investigation into police corruption.
Alvaró Gijón has been summoned by Manuel Penalva, the judge in charge of the Palma police corruption investigation, to appear on 9 September.
