Spending the rest of your life in a wheel-chair because of a moment's stupidity is no fun. Can we save such people from themselves? Probably not but multi-language warning signs in such places will help along with stark graphics showing what could happen to those who ignore the warning.
I’m pretty sure each jetty had signs telling people what NOT to do. Are they no longer there? It’s deadly shallow for some distance if you want to dive in. Not even at the jetty’s end.
It never ceases to amaze me, how stupid some people are!
